Hailing from North Louisiana with over 15 years of experience in the film industry, Visual Effects Supervisor Chris Cooper has always had an affinity for film and storytelling. As he grew up, he immersed himself in various creative endeavors from drawing to playing music, acting, and eventually as an improv comic on the stages of Upright Citizens Brigade (NYC). After spending nearly a decade in NYC, Chris welcomed twin girls before moving back home to Louisiana.

 

     Chris's film career started in 2009 back in Louisiana when he began working as a compositor at Millennium Studios as well as duties as an On Set Data Wrangler and VFX coordinator. There he worked on feature films such as Olympus Has Fallen, Drive Angry, Texas Chainsaw, Conan the Barbarian and many more. Because of his many years of on set experience and behind the computer work in Studio, Chris has been able to sharpen his skills in visual storytelling. His thorough grounding in camera and lighting principles have enabled him to apply that knowledge to Visual Effects with a complete understanding on how a shot is designed, photographed, composited, and ultimately delivered back to the client. 

     

     To date, Chris has been involved in the successful completion of major film and television titles such as: Transformers: Age of Extinction (2014), 21 Bridges (2019), Home Team (2022), Mayfair Witches (2023),  Carry-On (2024), The Wolf of Wall Street (2013) and Imaginary (2024) among other various projects.

 

Outside of work, Chris love spending time with his family, doing watch repair and various woodworking projects.
